MA Unggulan Nuris Achievements.
ANTIROGO, Radar Jember – After several times participating in the competition, this times Alya Latifatul Fitriah’s efforts finally paid off. Right on the commemoration of Hari Santri Nasional (HSN) on October 22nd, 2020. The student in class XI PK 1 MA Unggulan Nuris Jember, participated in the short story creation competition for senior high school students in East Java, and won third place.
In this online competition, Alya created a short story entitled Woman in the Eyes of the Kiai. According to her, a deep moral message was implied. “We cannot underestimate people and one eye. Because there must be another side that is not necessarily known behind it all,” she said when met by Jawa Pos Radar Jember.

The student from Umbulsari sub-district admitted that her skill in writing short stories was also inseparable from her participation in MA Unggulan Nuris Jember’s extracurricular creative literary writing. Besides that, in the competition which was held by the East Java Santri Gathering Forum (Forsis), Alya also decided on her own short story ideas with a central theme determined by the competition committee.
As the third winner, Alya was also rewarded with awards in the form of champion certificates and coaching money. For her, writing short stories is the main attraction. Even though she has participated in several competitions, she has not found her luck, but Alya does not give up. “If there is effort and continue to hone out skills, everything can be achieved. As I often participate in short story competitions. Alhamdulillah, this is the first time can win,” She explained. (kl/mau/c2/lin).
